U. S. Navy - A Sailor in his working uniform has bandaged hands from fighting an onboard fire; represents those who were awarded the Purple Heart.
U. S. Air Corps - A pilot is dressed in his flight gear and parachute and armed with a .45 caliber pistol.
U. S. Coast Guard and Merchant Marines - This figure is dressed in his foul weather gear from duty in the North Atlantic and Pacific while watching the submarines or transporting war materials.
U. S. Army - From the European theater, this G. I. is a South Dakota Native American, he has open pouches and a Garand M-1 rifle, held by the sling.
